Staying overnight in a motorhome at Disneyland Paris is perfectly possible thanks to a dedicated motorhome parking area, open all year round. More and more motorhome and campervan travellers choose this option to enjoy the magic of the Disney Parks without giving up the freedom of touring. We have stayed there ourselves and, in this article, we share our first-hand experience, with all the practical information you need to plan your motorhome stopover at Disneyland Paris in the best possible way.
Disneyland Paris motorhome parking area: where is it?
Motorhomes and campervans can park in the Main Visitor Car Park at Disneyland Paris, in a dedicated area for motorhome travellers known as the Pinocchio Car Park. The motorhome parking fee is €40, valid from 08:00 until 10:00 the following morning.

On arrival you pay at the entrance and receive a dated receipt with a QR code, which must be displayed on your windscreen. The ticket is valid for one single entry and exit – any exit is final. If you leave the motorhome parking and come back later, you will need to pay the daily fee again. Leaving after 10:00 incurs an additional day’s charge (which can also be paid by card at the exit; for other payment methods you need to go to Donald’s Desk, located at the entrance to Disneyland Park). You can stay for several consecutive days by paying the daily motorhome parking rate for each night. For up-to-date information, check the official Disneyland Paris parking prices.
Only motorhomes and campervans are allowed – caravans and vehicles with trailers are not permitted.
💡 Disneyland Pass holders (Bronze, Silver or Gold): car parking is free, but for motorhomes a reduced supplement of €15 per day applies instead of the standard €40 motorhome parking fee.
The car park is covered by a large photovoltaic canopy that provides constant shade and generates 36 GWh of renewable energy per year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of a town of more than 17,000 inhabitants.
Facilities at the Disneyland Paris motorhome area
The Disneyland Paris motorhome parking area is a functional car park, not a campsite. On site you will find:
- ✅ Recycling bins: glass, packaging, general waste
- ✅ Lighting at night
- ✅ CCTV and security patrols both day and night
- ✅ Toilets with drinking fountains reserved for Disney guests, about 550 m from the pedestrian entrance to the motorhome area
- ✅ Dump station for grey and black water, available all year round (it may be temporarily out of service for a few hours in case of frost)
- ❌ No fresh water tap or electrical hook-up
- ❌ No showers for motorhome guests
- ❌ No camping set-up allowed: tables, chairs and awnings are not permitted
- ❌ Engine idling is forbidden while parked
Access to the Disney Parks from the motorhome parking
From the motorhome car park you can reach the park entrances in about 15 minutes on foot, thanks to a series of moving walkways. The route is fully accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs, with no stairs. Bicycles and other personal wheeled devices (such as scooters, skateboards, roller skates, hoverboards or segways) are not allowed inside the Disney Parks or the Disney Village. You may bring your own pushchair or hire one for a fee at the rental points located at the entrance to each park.
Disneyland Park – This is the most iconic park, divided into five themed lands: Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland and Discoveryland. Here you will find the Sleeping Beauty Castle, classic attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean, It’s a Small World and Big Thunder Mountain, as well as parades featuring Disney characters. It is the ideal park for families with young children and primary school‑age kids, offering plenty of experiences suitable for all ages and a truly fairytale atmosphere.
Walt Disney Studios Park – Focused on the world of film, with areas themed around Disney, Pixar and MARVEL. It offers more dynamic attractions such as Ratatouille: The Adventure, Crush’s Coaster and the brand‑new Avengers Campus. This park is particularly suitable for older children, teenagers and adults, who can enjoy more intense rides and immerse themselves in the world of superheroes.
Tickets can be purchased for a single park or as a combined option for both. Due to high demand, you must hold a dated ticket or, if you have a pass or an undated ticket, you must register your visit in advance. Ticket offices are closed: Disneyland Paris tickets are sold exclusively online.
Disney Village: Disney atmosphere without a park ticket
Here is a useful tip: you can enjoy the Disney atmosphere even without entering the Parks, by visiting Disney Village, located just before the park entrances. For example, we arrived the day before our tickets were valid and were already able to soak up the Disney magic.
- Free entry, no ticket required
- Open every day from 07:30 until after the Parks close
- Offers themed restaurants, bars, Disney shops, a cinema, events and even a panoramic balloon
Visiting Disneyland Paris in a motorhome with dogs
Travelling by motorhome with pets is possible: here is everything you need to know about visiting Disneyland Paris in a motorhome with dogs. Pets are not allowed inside the Parks, but there is an Animal Care Center located near the car park, opposite the toilet facilities:
- Price: €25 per day and per animal (dogs, including puppies, and cats)
- Opening hours: from 08:00 until after the Parks close
- Not admitted: category 1 dogs (Pitbulls, Mastiffs and Tosas without pedigree) and category 2 dogs (Amstaffs with pedigree, Rottweilers with or without pedigree and Tosa Inus with pedigree)
- Each dog is housed in an individual kennel; if you have two dogs, they can be placed in kennels facing each other so they can see one another.
- A European pet passport with up‑to‑date rabies vaccination is required (this applies to French dogs as well).
- Food is included in the price, but you may bring your own and leave instructions for the staff.
- Owners are responsible for walking their dogs in the designated area, taking them out several times during the day so they can relieve themselves.
⚠️ As capacity is limited and there is no booking system, in theory access could be refused if the centre is full. However, the manager told us that this has never happened, not even in peak season.
Our personal experience with dogs
During our visit (in August), we chose to leave our dogs in the motorhome. Thanks to the photovoltaic canopy providing constant shade throughout the day, the interior remained liveable even in the height of summer. With the ventilation on full and the roof lights open, the dogs enjoyed a comfortable and familiar environment, without having to cope with an unfamiliar place or being separated into different kennels.
We would stress that this is our personal experience, based on the outside temperature, the features of our vehicle and our dogs’ temperament: each traveller should assess their own situation accordingly.
It takes around 8 minutes on foot from the park entrance to the Animal Care Center, and about 15 minutes from the park entrance back to the motorhome parking area.
Capacity and comfort of the Disneyland Paris motorhome area
The motorhome area is very large, with a capacity of around 550 spaces reserved for motorhomes, including 24 spaces for guests with reduced mobility. Even in peak season (August) it was only about one‑third full, ensuring plenty of space and a peaceful atmosphere.
Conclusion: staying at Disneyland Paris in a motorhome
The Disneyland Paris motorhome parking area is a convenient and well‑organised solution: you can walk to the Parks in about 15 minutes, there are all the essential services and you can travel with your pets. The photovoltaic roof provides shade in summer and protection in every season.
