About Agricamper Italia

Agricamper Italia is the first Italian network of free 24-hour farm stopovers for members travelling with self-contained motorhomes, campervans and caravans. We connect independent travellers with farms, wineries and rural producers across Italy, so that every overnight stop becomes a more authentic, local and sustainable travel experience.

Who we are

Agricamper Italia was founded in 2020 by Pauline Nava, a French entrepreneur who fell in love with Italy and wanted to make road trips by motorhome and caravan easier, more authentic and more connected to the countryside. Inspired by the farm stopover model created by France Passion in 1992 and then developed in other European countries, Agricamper Italia has grown into a nationwide network that helps travellers discover rural Italy while supporting local producers.

With an annual membership, an ebook and an app, travellers can find participating hosts all over Italy and enjoy one free 24‑hour stopover at a time, in a simple, safe and transparent way. The network is designed for self-contained vehicles, meaning motorhomes, campervans and caravans equipped to travel independently and respectfully.

What makes the model different

Agricamper Italia is not a campsite and not a standard parking area. It is a rural stopover network based on a simple and respectful exchange: hosts offer a place to stay, and travellers are encouraged to discover and buy local products. This helps create a more human form of tourism that supports farms, wineries and small producers while giving travellers a more meaningful way to explore Italy.

Agricamper Italia is part of FEFI, the Fédération Européenne de la Formule Invitations, which brings together farm stopover networks across Europe.
