Disneyland Paris in a Motorhome: Stopover Area, Prices and Practical Tips

Sleeping in a motorhome or campervan at Disneyland Paris is possible thanks to the dedicated parking area, open all year round. More and more travellers are choosing this option to enjoy the magic of the Parks without giving up the freedom of road travel. We stayed there ourselves, and in this article we share our direct experience, with all the practical information you need to plan your stay.

Where is the Disneyland Paris Motorhome Area?

Motorhomes and campervans can stay in the Visitors’ Car Park, in a section specifically dedicated to campers called the Pinocchio Car Park.

💶 Price: €40 per night, valid from 08:00 until 10:00 the next morning.

📍 GPS coordinates of the entrance: 48.8786270, 2.7852790

At the entrance you pay and receive a dated receipt with a QR code to display on the windscreen. Exiting after 10:00 results in an extra day’s charge (payable by card at the exit; for other methods, payment is required at “Donaldo Duck’s Desk” at the Disneyland Park entrance).

You can stay multiple consecutive days, paying the daily rate for each night. However, exit is final: once you leave, you must pay again to re-enter.

👉 Only motorhomes and campervans are allowed: caravans and vehicles with trailers are not permitted.

The parking is covered by a huge photovoltaic canopy that provides constant shade and produces 36 GWh of renewable energy each year — equivalent to the annual consumption of a city of more than 17,000 inhabitants!

Available Services

The Disneyland Paris motorhome area is a functional car park, not a campsite. Here’s what you will find:

  • ✅ Waste bins for separated recycling: glass, packaging, general waste
  • ✅ Lighting at night
  • ✅ CCTV and regular security patrols, day and night
  • ✅ Toilets and water fountains reserved for Disney visitors, located about 550 m from the pedestrian entrance
  • ✅ A dump station for grey and black water, available all year (may be temporarily closed for a few hours in case of frost)

🚫 No drinking water refill
🚫 No electricity hookup
🚫 No showers for campers
🚫 No camping behaviour (tables, chairs, awnings are forbidden)
🚫 Engine idling is prohibited

Access to the Parks

From the motorhome car park, the Disney Parks entrances are about 15 minutes on foot, with several moving walkways along the way. The route is stroller- and wheelchair-friendly, with no stairs.

❌ Bicycles and personal wheeled devices (scooters, skateboards, skates, hoverboards, segways) are not allowed inside the Parks or Disney Village.

You can bring your own stroller or rent one at the entrance of each Park.

🎠 Disneyland Park

The most iconic park, divided into five themed lands: Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland and Discoveryland. Highlights include Sleeping Beauty Castle, classics like Pirates of the Caribbean, It’s a Small World, Big Thunder Mountain, plus parades with Disney characters.
👉 Ideal for families with children, offering experiences suitable for all ages.

🎬 Walt Disney Studios Park

Focused on the world of cinema, with areas dedicated to Disney, Pixar and MARVEL. Popular attractions include Ratatouille: The Adventure, Crush’s Coaster, and the brand-new Avengers Campus.
👉 Best suited for older children, teenagers and adults who enjoy more thrilling rides and superheroes.

Tickets can be purchased for one Park only or combined for both. Because of high attendance, you must have a dated ticket or register your visit in advance if using an undated ticket or pass.
⚠️ Ticket offices on site are closed — purchase is only possible online.

Disney Village: The Disney Atmosphere Without a Ticket

You can enjoy the Disney vibe even without entering the Parks, by visiting Disney Village, located before the Park entrances.

  • Free entry, no ticket required
  • Open daily from 07:30 until after Park closing time
  • Themed restaurants, bars, Disney shops, cinema, events and even a panoramic hot-air balloon

We arrived the evening before our tickets were valid and could already immerse ourselves in the Disney atmosphere.

Visiting Disneyland Paris with Dogs

Travelling with pets in your motorhome or campervan? Here’s what you need to know.

Dogs and cats cannot enter the Parks, but there is an Animal Care Center near the car park, opposite the toilets:

  • 💶 €25 per day per animal (dogs, even puppies, and cats)
  • 🕗 Open 08:00 until after Park closing
  • ❌ Not allowed: Category 1 dogs (Pitbull, Mastiff, Tosa without pedigree) and Category 2 dogs (Amstaff with pedigree, Rottweiler with/without pedigree, Tosa Inu with pedigree)
  • Each dog stays in an individual kennel; if you have two, they can be placed opposite each other so they can see each other
  • European Pet Passport with rabies vaccination required (even for French dogs)
  • Food is included, but you can bring your own and leave instructions
  • Owners must walk their dogs themselves in the dedicated area

⚠️ Officially, space is limited and no booking is possible, so access could be refused. However, the staff confirmed this has never happened, not even in peak season.

Our Personal Experience with Dogs

During our visit in August, we chose to leave the dogs inside the motorhome. Thanks to the photovoltaic canopy providing constant shade, the interior stayed comfortable even in summer. With maximum ventilation and roof vents open, our dogs had a familiar environment, without facing an unknown kennel and separation.

👉 This was our personal choice, based on outside temperature, our vehicle’s features and our dogs’ temperament. Each traveller must evaluate their own situation carefully.

⏱️ Walking distance: Park entrance to Animal Care Center = about 8 minutes. Park entrance to motorhome area = about 15 minutes.

Capacity and Comfort

The motorhome area is very large, with around 550 spaces dedicated to motorhomes, including 24 reserved for reduced mobility travellers.

Even in peak season (August), only about one-third was occupied — meaning plenty of space and tranquillity.

Conclusion

The Disneyland Paris motorhome and campervan parking area is a convenient and well-organised solution:

  • Access to the Parks in about 15 minutes on foot
  • Essential services, including a year-round dump station
  • The possibility to travel with your pets
  • Shade in summer and protection in all seasons thanks to the photovoltaic canopy

👉 A perfect formula for those who want to experience the magic of Disney without giving up the freedom of motorhome or campervan travel.
