Agricamper Italia is the first and most widespread Italian network offering free 24-hour rural stopovers for motorhomes, campervans, and self-contained caravans. We connect travelers with over 500 farms, vineyards, dairies, craft breweries, and authentic local producers throughout Italy. Our goal is to make itinerant travel easier, more authentic, and more sustainable, while supporting farmers and showcasing the best of the Italian countryside.
Our mission
We believe in a form of tourism that creates value—for farms, travelers, and local communities. Every Agricamper stop is a meeting point between two worlds that rarely interact: those who work the land and those who travel to discover it.
Our vision is rooted in three core principles: authenticity, mutual respect, and real sustainability.
What we offer travelers
With an annual membership of €39.90, members enjoy full access to the network’s benefits:
- Free 24-hour stopovers at 500+ rural locations across Italy
- Detailed and regularly updated host descriptions
- Photos, access info, local product highlights, facilities, and notes on family and pet-friendliness
- Integrated booking system via the app
- Verified member reviews
- Over 400 free camper service points with GPS coordinates for grey and black water disposal
Agricamper Italia is not a campsite or motorhome area network: it’s a hospitality model based on trust, welcome, and respect. Host farms are not required to provide traditional campsite services (electricity hookups, bathrooms, showers, waste facilities).
How Agricamper differs from farm campsites and motorhome areas
Agricamper Italia → Free 24-hour rural stopovers at farms, exclusive to members.
Farm campsite (agricampeggio) → Campsites located on farms with pitches and services (water, toilets, showers…), no limit on duration.
Motorhome service area → Public or private parking areas with services (water, electricity, waste disposal); stay usually limited to 48–72 hours and no camping setup allowed.
Who can travel with Agricamper Italia
The service is for self-contained vehicles only, including:
- motorhomes
- converted vans and campervans
- self-contained caravans
Both owned and rented vehicles are accepted.
Tents, motorcycles, cars, unconverted vans, or vehicles without onboard facilities are not eligible.
Our core values
Authenticity
We encourage genuine encounters between travelers and local producers.
Mutual Respect
Each stop is based on trust: both host and guest contribute to the experience.
Sustainability
We promote slow, mindful, and eco-conscious travel.
Supporting Local Areas
Each stop actively contributes to the rural economy.
Our commitment to sustainability
We support off-season travel, the redistribution of tourism flows, and the discovery of hidden gems far from mass tourism. This helps protect rural landscapes and preserve Italian agricultural traditions.
